Derek and I? We go way back. We grew up together, went to med school together. He’s… He’s kinda like my better half. Not the better-looking half, mind you.  So when I heard he got shot… Every day, we give bad news to patients. We tell them their loved ones are hurt, or dying or dead. And for the first time in my life, I understood what that feels like. It feels like shit.

Mark: Guess who just scored a table at that sushi place that’s impossibly to get to?

Callie: No way!

Mark: 8.30, table for three!

Arizona: Oh, you know what, I don’t…I don’t eat sushi.

Callie: Yeah you do.

Arizona: Yeah…I did…I did, but then I…got sick. After I ate one of those pre-packaged rolls at the cafeteria. Bad memory. You two go.

[Callie sighs]

Mark: I’ll change the reservation to two.

[Callie gives Arizona a look]

MARK: Lockdown. Kinda crazy right? You think it’s, uh, serious? This Karev thing serious?
LEXIE: Mark. 
MARK: I miss you.
LEXIE: Can you just sign the order
VIVIAN: Sir. You can’t leave this area. The hospital- [gunfire]
LEXIE: [crawls over to Vivian] No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
MARK: Come on!
LEXIE: She’s dead.
MARK: Come on.
LEXIE: She’s dead.
MARK: I’m getting you out of here.

MARK: She’s with Karev.
CALLIE: Yeah, well Betty married Mike, but she never got over Henry.
MARK: [confused] What?

MARK: You gonna try and get with Robbins? [Callie looks away, Mark tilts his head to look at her] Why not?

Mark: Mind blowing. I pounded her cake, she pounded mine. Excellent pound caking.
